Thailand No-Quarantine Reopening from 1 November 2021


Effective from 1 November 2021, Thailand is ready to reopen for fully vaccinated travellers from the 46 initially approved countries, including Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland.

Key Points of TEST & GO Travelling

- Fully vaccinated travellers who completed the COVID-19 vaccines approved by WHO or the Thai Ministry of Public Health at least 14 days before their travel date. Those who had positive of COVID-19 must present a medical certificate of recovery with 1 dose of vaccine no later than 3 months.

- Travel by air from the 46 approved countries. Currently, Thailand has approved quarantine-free entry for arrivals from Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bhutan, Brunei Darussalam, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, China, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UAE, UK, USA, and Hong Kong. Visitors must have been in the approved countries for 21 days or more. Transit/transfer from the approved countries is not allowed.

- Register for “Thailand Pass” QR Code online at http://tp.consular.go.th by uploading a valid certificate of vaccination and other required document for approval before travelling.

- Obtain a COVID-19 health insurance policy with minimum coverage of US$50,000, a pre-payment confirmation for a minimum of 1-night stays upon arrival at the approved SHA Plus-certified hotel together with the prepaid mandatory RT-PCR COVID-19 test and an Antigen Test Kit (ATK). The provided ATK is for COVID-19 self-testing on Day 6-7 and showing the result to the responsible hotel staff as well as for recording in the alert application.

- Produce proof of negative RT-PCR COVID-19 test issued within 72 hours before departure to Thailand.

- Travellers under 12 years of age, travelling with their parents or guardians, are exempt from this vaccination requirement, but must have a negative RT-PCR test result issued no more than 72 hours before travelling.

- Upon arrival at Thailand’s international airport, travellers must proceed directly by the approved airport transfer to the pre-arranged COVID-19 test centre, or the reserved accommodation and undergo the required RT-PCR COVID-19 test on Day 0-1.- Travellers must download and install the specified alert application (MorChana), and standby within the accommodation only for the test result, which should be available within the day. With negative test result, travellers can go anywhere in Thailand.
