The first day of this Myanmar tour is spent cruising downstream on one of the greatest rivers on earth. The ever-changing scenery is filled with views of distant mountains, temple-dotted riverbanks and small fishing boats passing by. A stop will be made at Yandabo where you will meet the friendly locals and watch them create traditional pottery using age-old methods handed down by generations.

As night falls, the boat will moor near the river banks in the tranquil nighttime air. Under the evening sky, the Irrawaddy is illuminated by the moon and stars for a mystical atmosphere unlike any other that you will experience on your Myanmar tour.

Awaken in the morning to witness the villages coming to life as the boat casts off for the cruise down to Bagan. Arriving in Bagan in the late morning, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel for the continuation of your Myanmar package tour.
