Day 2: Hanoi – City Tour (B/-/-)
Today we commence our sightseeing of Hanoi with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the mausoleum of the nation's founder Ho Chi Minh, the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts. Close to this complex is the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of Hanoi. We follow this with a visit to the Temple of Literature, well known as Vietnam's first university, and the Ethnology Museum which displays an excellent collection of artifacts illustrating the Vietnam’s ethnic minorities with their own traditions, cultures & life-styles. The peaceful lake of Hoan Kiem with its sacred temple and the bustling Hang Be or Dong Xuan Market are also visited before taking 1-hour cyclo around the old quarters.
Lastly, you will have a chance to enjoy a very unique traditional art performance named Water Puppet Show.

Day 3: Hanoi – Ba Be: (B/L/D) (Distance: 250 Km, approximately 8 hours)
Early this morning 7:00am. On the way, stop to take photos of panorama of the countryside and meet hill tribe people, have lunch in Bac Can, visit home electric dam and Tay village along the way. Arrive in Ba Be at around 15:00, upon arrival, you will reserve your own time to refresh after a long journey with drives.
Dinner & communicate with the locals to understand more about their daily life as well as culture, history & life-style of Tay People
Overnight at local house in Pac Ngoi village

Day 4: Ba Be (B/L/D)
After having breakfast, we will start taking a boat trip on the beautiful Nang river to relax ourselves after a long journey on car. Here, you will have chances to see Dau Dang waterfall known as one of the most magnificent & fierce waterfalls in the North of Vietnam, then Puong Grotto & Ba Be national Park.
In the afternoon, you will be free on your own to walk around the lake or in the forest to experience the quiet atmosphere of mountains, forests & lakes as well as the simple life of the locals
Dinner & communicate with the locals to understand more about their daily life as well as culture, history & life-style of Tay People
Overnight at local house in Pac Ngoi village

Vietnam Travel PackagesDay 5: Ba Be – Na Hang - Ha Giang: (B/-/-) (Distance: 250 Km, approximately 8 hours)
After having breakfast, early departure for the Ha Giang province. From Ba Be national Park and following the national road No 22 to Na Hang town - Tuyen Quang province. On the way you can stop for photos at local villages & valleys along the road. Additionally, Visit many of Vietnam's ethnic minorities and hilltribe people. Take some time to learn about the Dao, Hmong, Muong, Thai, and Bo Y minorities. Go to a restaurant which is famous for its traditional hot-pot (on my own account).

Day 6: Ha Giang - Quan Ba – Meo Vac - Dong Van (B/-/-) (Distance: 250 Km, approximately 7 hours)
After breakfast, the ride will lead you to the most beautiful landscape in Viet Nam, it is the small & quiet mountain town situated in between the beautiful mountain and valleys together with the peaceful authentic sceneries. It is called Quan Ba to visit the Bo Y minority village, this area is wonderful weather around year, then process passing Sky gate where you can visit sky, Fairy Mountain, hand weaving village. Finally, You will pass by Quan Ba for a short coffee break to Yen Minh for lunch. After lunch, you will have time to discover the Lolo people and a short trek around Meo Vac town 
.
Later on, we will first take some time to climb over the Ma Pi Leng Pass. Here is yet another amazing place, with incredible mountain ranges and the Nho Que river winding off in the distance. We will continue to zig-zag our way to Dong Van, visiting remote areas and the hard working local people here. It is inspiring to see how they survive as they manage their environment. When we reach town we will have some extra time to wonder the ancient streets lined with Hmong homes of clay bricks and tiles roofs built centuries ago...

Dong Van is a very beautiful & famous plateau situated on the height of 1,025 m above sea level and is inhabited by the Tay and H’Mong ethnic groups. The temperature is approximately 1oC in winter and reaches 24oC on the hottest days. The plateau provides famous products such as Hau plums, peaches, and persimmons without seeds. Dong Van apples are as big as pears. In Dong Van, numerous valuable plants used for their medicinal value are found, including ginseng, anise, and cinnamon.

Dong Van has a lot to offer: mountains, forests, hidden grottoes and caves, multi-colored orchid forests, plum and peach trees, persimmon orchards, and more. Visiting Dong Van, one can see Pho Bang, also called Pho Bang Street, which was built a long time ago and features multi-storey houses made of clay bricks and tile roofs. Visiting Dong Van on Sundays, one can shop in a very original mountain market where all kinds of goods and multi-colored clothes can be purchased.
Here might be a very nice place for you to shoot for photos of the daily life of the locals & hill-tribes.

Vietnam Travel PackagesDay 7: Dong Van - Lung Cu - Sa Phin - Ha Giang (B) (Distance: 250 Km, approximately 7 hours)
Breakfast outside of hotel. Visit ancient houses, departure for Lo Lo minority village, trekking to Flag tower on the top of Lung Cu mountain about 1km, view ancient valley from the top. After that we go to Sa Phin village to visit former Meo King palace, on the way we can stop to visit Lung Tao a small village. If we come here on Sunday, we have chance to visit local market, it is still remain traditional life of high minority in Ha Giang.

Day 8: Ha Giang - Hoang Su Phi (B/-/-)
From Ha Giang to Hoang Su Phi about 120km, you can see some different villages of Red Dao people located on the hill-sides & by streams. Coming here, you will have chances to view a very panoramic image of rice paddies on terraces & learn more about the culture & unique characteristics of Red Dao people in terms of life-style. You have lunch at local restaurant, coming to Hoang Su Phi in about the late afternoon for dinner and overnight at Pan Hou Resort.

Day 9: Hoang Su Phin - Xin Man - Bac Ha (B/-/-) (160km) Today's dive is longer than yesterday's via Xin Man and the area's tortuous roadways. More picturesque Vietnam countryside and landscapes, as well as meeting and talking with local ethnic families.
The second half of this drive is much easier but one will have to be careful not to get lost in the dense woods. Arrive in the town of Bac Ha (Lao Cai) at about 5:00 pm, dinner and sleep at hotel in Bac Ha.

Day 10: Bac Ha - Can Cau Market (B/-/-)
After breakfast, early departure for the Bac Ha sunday Market, one of the biggest market for minorities in northwest of Viet Nam. If it is on Saturday, you can visit Can Cau Market of H'Mong people, where you can see hill-tribes coming from many other regions on mountains to be here to sell, buy necessary things for their life & children as well as exchange agricultural products together.
After that, you will come back to Bac Ha for lunch (On your account)
In the afternoon, you can trek with our guide to Ban Pho village (5 Km)
Overnight at Sao Mai hotel in Bac Ha town.

Vietnam Travel PackagesDay 11: Bac Ha - Sapa (B/-/-)
After breakfast, you will be free on your own at Bac Ha to see more its market until you will be transferred to Sapa.
Upon arrival, you will have time for lunch at local restaurant then a check-in at hotel. The rest of time, you will be free on your own at Sapa market or to sit around some wifi coffee bars here to relax yourself after hard adventure days or email to your friends about your trip.

Day 12: SAPA - LAO CHAI – TAVAN – TA PHIN – LAO CAI - Hanoi (B/-/-)
After having breakfast,
At 08:30 am: we leave the hotel and start trekking. The first part is on the road but we soon turn to the right and walk on a small path down the valley to the Muong Hoa River and from here to the Black H’mong village Lao Chai San, Lao Chai. Black H’mong is one of the biggest minority groups in the Sapa area. They are proud of their culture and keep their traditions and way of living. They have their own language and wear traditional indigio blue clothing. After this you continue to Ta Van village (1.200 m) to visit Zay people. Zay is a fairly small minority group of about 38.000 people who live mainly in the mountains in Northwest Vietnam. The development has meant that some of their old customs have been lost but many women still wear traditional shirts with a purple, blue or green colour. The Zay houses are build in wood and bamboo with clay floor.
After visiting in Lao Chai & Ta Van villages, we will come back to Sapa for lunch. After lunch, you will be driven to see Ta Phin village.
At around 17:00: You will be driven straight to Lao Cai station from Ta Phin (Note: Ta Phin is located in the middle & on the way from Sapa to Lao Cai)
At 18:00, you will arrive Lao Cai. Right here, time for dinner before getting on the night train to Hanoi.

Day 13: HANOI – HA LONG BAY(B/L/-)
At around 05:00: Train will arrive Hanoi Station
Our car will be waiting for you in front of the station & escort you to a hotel for the early check-in, take a shower & have breakfast then relaxation.
At 08:30: you will be driven to Ha Long bay.
12.30 We are welcome on the traditional junk and have welcome drink. Start the boat trip to visit Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. This picturesque “Dragon descending to the sea” Bay has 1,969 limestone islets rising from the sea, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. Visit of a grotto then seafood lunch on board.
The excursion includes the visit to Con Cho Island, Dinh Huong Island, Canh Buom Island, Ga Choi Island. Swimming on Titop or Hoa Cuong beach. Watching sunset. Fishing with seine and owing bamboo boat (on request).
Dinner and overnight on Phoenix Superior Junk.

Vietnam Travel PackagesDay 14 : HALONG BAY – HANOI (Brunch/-)
Breakfast on board or getting the breakfast box.
Continue to visit other corners of Halong Bay. Brunch is served on board.
11h30: Transfer back to Hanoi with stopover at Dong Trieu ceramic village.
16h00: Arrive in Hanoi.
O/N in Hanoi.

Day 15: HANOI - DEPARTURE (B/-/-)
In this morning, you will be at leisure until transferred to Noi Bai airport a departure flight to the next destination. End of the trip
